What is Starbroken?
Starbroken is a persistent multiplayer space MMO built on Minecraft. Pilot your own ship, mine asteroid belts, trade, fight, and claim territory in a lawless galaxy. It’s free and in active pre-alpha.
How do I join the server?
In Minecraft: Java Edition, add the server address play.starbroken.net and connect. It’s free to play.
Do I need any mods?
No. Starbroken runs server-side, so you join with a normal vanilla Java client. Newer Minecraft versions are supported automatically via ViaVersion.
Is it free? Is it pay-to-win?
Free to play. The only purchases are cosmetic — there is no pay-to-win and nothing that affects gameplay power.
